Lynchburg Youth Group Home Community Partnership

IRON Lives works with the Lynchburg Youth Group Home on a bi-weeky basis to provide leadership development, character building and character-centered mentoring.

Ty and Allison from IRON Lives worked with Kloie from Mission Thrift to present a Dress for Success workshop in February. The first session was at the new IRON Lives headquarters on Jefferson Street. The follow up was at Mission Thrift on Bedford Avenue where participants were able to style outfits for interview scenarios and shop for themselves with donated vouchers.

Mission Thrift Shopping Experience

Participants were able to shop for interview clothes using vouchers they received courtesy of Mission Thrift. Our Partners from Mission Thrift, Rachel and Kloie, setup the store for private shopping.
